A Landscape Rich in Life

Blannicombe is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, reflecting the diversity of habitats across the estate.

Throughout the seasons, the landscape changes in both colour and character. Spring brings new growth and nesting activity, summer sees wildflower margins alive with pollinators, and autumn and winter reveal the structure of the land and the movement of wildlife within it. Each season has its own rhythm, and each plays a part in the overall balance of the estate.

We actively manage the land to support this diversity. Habitat creation, feeding programmes and careful planning ensure that wildlife is able to thrive alongside the shooting. The presence of birds, mammals and insects across the estate is a direct result of this ongoing work.

A well managed sporting estate should enhance the landscape, not diminish it. At Blannicombe, we aim to ensure that the land remains rich, varied and alive throughout the year.
